Two LA County deputies ambushed by an unknown assailant on Saturday were being treated at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California. They made it to the emergency room despite that BLM protesters were trying to block the entrance. The deputies were in critical condition but thankfully are expected to survive:

The two deputies ambushed were attacked at around 7 p.m. outside the Compton Metro rail station as they sat in their patrol vehicle. The deputies were said to be “fighting for their lives” at the hospital. But they almost didn’t get into the emergency room.
To the protesters blocking the entrance & exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling "We hope they die" referring to 2 LA Sheriff's ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES & EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL. People's lives are at stake when ambulances can't get through.

Black Lives Matter protesters positioned themselves outside of St. Francis hospital where both deputies are being treated. LASD put out a statement requiring protesters to stop blocking the entrance of the hospital emergency room as ambulances are unable to get through, putting more lives at risk.
Not that these activists give a rip about any other lives but their own.
Fox wrote:
Video posted online showed protesters being prevented from walking farther onto hospital grounds and arguing with hospital security over whether the hospital is public or private property.
Protesters could be heard shouting at one officer who appeared to point some sort of weapon at the protesters.
“That’s why you’re dying one by one, you stupid f—s,” a man can be heard saying. “Y’all gonna die one by one. This ain’t gonna stop.”
“You’re next with the f—— hot pocket,” a man shouted.
“I want to deliver a message to the family of the [inaudible]: I hope they f—— die,” a man yelled.

Two people were arrested by the LASD. One female was eventually identified as a member of the press but didn’t have proper credentials. She was released but still charged.
LASD Century Sheriff’s Station Watch Commander reported the following:
After deputies issued a dispersal order for the unlawful assembly of a group of protesters blocking the hospital emergency entrance & exits, a male adult protester refused to comply & cooperate. During his arrest, a struggle ensued at which time a female adult ran towards the deputies, ignored repeated commands to stay back as they struggled with the male and interfered with the arrest. The female adult, who was later identified as a member of the press, did not identify herself as press and later admitted she did not have proper press credentials on her person. Both individuals have been arrested for 148 P.C.

And here’s a for all “members of the press.” When an officer is working and the situation is volatile, don’t act like one of the activists. When an officer tells you to do something–do it. Unless of course, you want to find yourself in a jail cell…or worse.
