First lady Jill Biden is suffering some serious mocking for her truly idiotic and hypocritical story about the new White House Christmas tree. And, boy, does she deserve the ridicule.
Biden revealed that this year’s White House Christmas tree centerpiece came from hurricane devastated North Carolina and with her story she attempted to make the tree a symbol of American resilience. But her story made a complete abortion of that idea.
“This beautiful Fraser fir was grown at Cartner’s Christmas Tree Farm, where the Cartner family has been growing trees for more than 60 years,”Jill Biden said in her message about this year’s tree.
“Their farm is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, a region that was recently devastated by Hurricane Helene,” she continued.
“The Cartner family lost thousands of trees to the storm. But this one remained standing—and they named it ‘Tremendous’ for the extraordinary hope that it represents,” she explained.
Well, is that a “Tremendous” story… or is it?
Because, let’s think about this for a moment, shall we?
So, we have this wonderful tree that was a lone survivor of Hurricane Helene and it stood as a symbol of resilience for the community.
That is, it stood until Jill Biden came along to whack it down to stuff into a room at the White House!
Many on social media immediately saw the lunacy of this resilience claim.
Thousands of trees were destroyed at a Christmas Tree Farm in North Carolina, during Helene.
One survived and Jill and Joe Biden chopped it down. Then shipped it to the Whitehouse. Poetic. pic.twitter.com/vrfkwaUFY5

I’m not sure which Jill Biden Christmas was worse – the creepy White House Christmas dancers last year or completely ignoring hurricane victims except to steal a tree from their community.
Looking forward to the return of classy Melania next year. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/9CapcXNqqZ

After doing the least possible to help these poor people, many of whom still live in tents, this horrible administration uses their disaster for a political point.
Stay classy Jill.— Jellenne 🇺🇸🌵🌞 (@jellen805) November 28, 2024
The classy thing would have been to leave it standing, designate it the official tree, decorate it, and donate all the money to the surrounding areas.
