The Jew-haters running the left-wing Cannes film festival reportedly forced Mia Schem to hand over the tiny yellow ribbon pin she was wearing to raise awareness about the Jewish hostages that Hamas terrorists are still holding, raping, torturing, and murdering.
Schem, who was brutally taken into captivity by the Hamas terrorists who invaded Israeli territory on Oct. 7, 2023, was one of the young Israeli women who were attending the Re’im music festival and witnessed the massacre committed by the Muslim terror group. She spent 54 days in captivity in Gaza.
Now the dual Israeli French citizen says that Cannes officials took away her freedom to show support for hostages at the festival.
Per the JewishChronicle:
“I came to support the struggle to bring back the hostages,” Schem told Israel’s Channel 12 News. “Unfortunately, at the entrance to the red carpet, the festival organisers confiscated the ribbon I was supposed to wear.”
She said that she “refused to concede” and instead wore one of the hostage ribbons belonging to her delegation on her dress.
Fifty-eight hostages are believed to still be held captive in Gaza, with around 20 confirmed to be alive.
Schem had been invited to Cannes by the local Jewish community to raise awareness of the hostages’ plight. On Friday, she was hosted by the mayor of Nice and addressed the city council.
It should come as no surprise that the Cannes are fascist, Jew-haters. They showed their stripes last week when dozens of actors and festival officials signed a letter attacking Israel for trying to put an end to the Hamas terror group. The letter supported Hamas and its genocidal goal to kill all Jews and shamed Israel for opposing Hamas.
Naturally, the letter did not mention the Israeli hostages that Hamas still holds in captivity, nor the dozens of hostages they have already slaughtered.
