Texas Gov. Abbott Proposes JAIL TIME For Illegal Migrants In Special Legislative Session

While the Biden Administration flip-flops on how to make it look like they’re taking the flood of illegals seriously while continuing to deny that their policies are the “root causes,” the fed-up Texas Governor is actually doing something about it.

In a press release on Thursday, Governor Abbott announced several agenda

Items for the Legislature’s third Special Session that will convene on Monday, October 9.

Among them were parental rights in education, opposing forced COVID shots by employers, and, critically, several proposals to curb illegal border crossing.

Gov. Abbott’s statement took a swipe at the President’s failure to control the flood of economic migrants entering the country illegally aided by cartels. He said Texas will “pass laws to mirror the federal immigration laws President Joe Biden refuses to enforce.”

He also added that those crossing the border illegally will be subject to arrest and face a penalty of up to 20 years in prison if they refuse to comply with deportation. The same will be valid for repeat offenders.

“I am bringing the Texas Legislature back for Special Session #3 to continue building on the achievements we accomplished during the 88th Regular Legislative Session and two special sessions this summer,” said Governor Abbott. “Together, we will chart a brighter future for all Texas children by empowering parents to choose the best education option for their child. Texas will also pass laws to mirror the federal immigration laws President Joe Biden refuses to enforce that will reduce illegal immigration and enhance the safety of Texans. For the first time ever, Texas will subject people to arrest for illegal entry into our state from a foreign nation. All licensed law enforcement officers in Texas will be authorized to arrest or remove any person who illegally enters the State, with penalties up to 20 years in prison for refusing to comply with removal. To crack down on repeated attempts to enter Texas illegally, re-entry will be penalized with up to 20 years in prison. Additionally, we must protect the freedom of Texans from forced COVID-19 vaccinations. I look forward to working with my partners in the Legislature to address these critical issues.

It’s about damned time!

Decades of dogged refusal from both sides to secure the border has sent a very clear message to the world — the Southern border is open.

If that’s not the message, then explain this:

That kind of mass invasion is not just unsustainable — it’s a disgrace.

Most of these people are making bogus asylum claims, which slows the system for legitimate asylum seekers and legal immigrants who want to come into the country the right way.

A nation that doesn’t secure its borders is not a nation at all.

That’s why Trump said he’d build a “big, beautiful wall” resonated with so many Americans in 2016.

I’m not sure what the Left will do to “fortify” the Presidential election in 2024 as they did in 2020, but whatever it is might not be enough.

Biden can barely speak or walk, and everything he touches turns crap. Vice President Kamala Harris, a.k.a. the “Border Czar,” is about as popular as Stage 3 cancer, and as we’ve seen on the news and on social media, even the bluest of the blue “Sanctuary” cities have had enough of the illegal migrants straining city resources.
