One sure thing about the Global Warming Hoaxers, they want us to cut back or pay more for energy but JUST us, they continue to have a huge carbon footprint. If they really believed their own hoax they would follow their own “green” advice. ManBearPig the former Vice President was famous for wasting tons of energy, Secretary of State John “Why The Long Face Kerry” carbon footprint is much larger than the average American also.
Just last month, Kerry urged fast-growing India to work with the United States on global warming
before it’s too late.
“The irreversible climate challenge is speeding
towards us, crying out for a global solution,”
Then he want on doomed to fail attempt to “re-start” the middle east peace talks between Israel and the “Fatah” Palestinian terrorist. Even though talks have been announced, they aren’t exactly peace talks–they are talks to discuss how to conduct talks.
Should Congress Remove Biden from Office?
The Washington Free Beacon did an environmental impact study of Kerry’s Mid-East trips (not only to Israel but to the entire region). In six trips to the region since February, Kerry and his crew have expended almost twice the amount of carbon that the average American emits yearly.
Kerry alone has produced 26,037.11 pounds of CO2 as he sought to bring intransigent Palestinian leaders back to the bargaining table.
In addition to the impact Kerry’s trips have had on the environment, the trips have cost taxpayers upwards of $2,774,497, according to the Free Beacon’s analysis.
“We all wish the secretary well, but two things are perplexing. The first is why he is optimistic,” said former George W. Bush administration national security adviser Elliott Abrams. “These are not new issues, neither Palestinian nor Israel positions have changed, and solutions on issues like Jerusalem seem as far away as ever.”
“The second is why he is concentrating on this matter when Iran is edging toward a bomb, there’s a bloodbath in Syria, and Egypt just had a coup,” Abrams said. “This challenge has been around since 1967 and wouldn’t seem like the top priority.”
The real challenge is that the Palestinians refuse to recognize Israel as the Jewish State.
One of the stated goals of the Palestinians is to flood Israel (within
the green lines) with Palestinian Muslims. Being a democracy, if Israel
allows herself to be flooded with millions of those1948 refugees’
descendants of those 1948 refugees, she will cease to be the Jewish
State. Instead Israel will be just another Muslim country in the Middle
While the number of
Palestinian refugees in 1949 was somewhere between 800,000-900,000,
today the number is over 4 million. This group of refugees is the only
example in history where the number has grown without a population shift
(the UN counts the original refugees, their children, grandchildren,
first cousin twice removed on their mother’s side, friends etc. as
refugees-The Jewish refugees from Arab countries, 900,000+ were absorbed
by Israel and other countries).
Palestinian President Abbas has always refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. In an interview with German newsmagazine Der Spiegel President Abbas said,
We recognized the State of Israel within the 1967 borders. Whether it
defines itself as a Jewish state, a Hebrew state or a Zionist state is
its business. As far as I’m concerned, it can call itself what it
pleases. But he cannot force me to agree with this definition.
In October 2010 negotiations were going on to convince Netanyahu to
extend the Judea and Samaria building freeze. Netanyahu made a very
simple offer to the PA. If you were to recognize Israel as the Jewish
State, we will extend building freeze indefinitely. As reported by Al Jazeera the answer was a resounding no:
Netanyahu’s proposal met with swift rejection from senior Palestinian officials.
“The whole world holds Netanyahu responsible for what is happening in
the region, after he chose to push ahead with the settlement project at
the expense of an advance in the peace process. Settlement freeze is a
commitment Netanyahu should respect,” Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian
negotiator, told Al Jazeera.
Yasser Abed Rabbo, a senior official of the Palestinian Liberation
Organisation, described the settlement issue as “an aggression on
Palestinian rights and land”.
“What Israel calls itself is an Israeli matter that does not concern
us. The two issues are not related,” he told Al Jazeera in reference to
Netanyahu’s condition that Palestinians recognise Israel as a Jewish
Nabil Abu Rudainah, the spokesman for Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian
president, said a return to peace talks required a freeze on settlement
building by Israel.
“The issue of the Jewishness of the state has nothing to do with the
matter,” he told the Reuters news agency. According to Al Jazzeera Abbas
replied almost imminently with a resounding no.
Any “I recognize Israel” quote is nothing but a ruse…time and time again
the Palestinians have refused to recognize the JEWISH State of Israel.
And without that recognition, none of the other issues will be resolved.
Yet Kerry has insisted on personally championing the issue, travelling between Washington, D.C., Cairo, Tel Aviv, and a host of other Middle Eastern cities.
The Free Beacons estimates of Kerry’s footprints are based on average emissions per person on a commercial airliner, meaning that between Kerry, his advisers, and security personnel, the actual carbon footprint could be significantly higher.
- From Feb. 24 to March 6, for instance, Kerry travelled from D.C. to Doha, Qatar, with stops in London, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Ankara, and Cairo.
- A total of 3,858.5 pounds of CO2 were emitted per passenger on this trip, according to the analysis.
- From May 21 to June 2, Kerry travelled from D.C. to Paris, with stops in Muscat, Oman; Amman, Jordan; Tel Aviv; and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
- On this trip another 4,492 pounds of CO2 were emitted per passenger.
- From March 19 through the 27th, Kerry flew from D.C. to Paris, with stops in Tel Aviv, Amman, Baghdad, and Kabul.
- A total of 3,793.5 pounds of CO2 were released into the environment during the trip.
- From June 21 to July 2, Kerry flew from D.C. to the Bandar Seri Bagawan in the Sultanate of Brunei with stops in Doha, New Delhi, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Amman, and Tel Aviv.
- A total of 6,824.7 pounds of CO2 per passenger were emitted on this trip.
- From April 6 to the 15th, Kerry flew from D.C. to Tokyo with stops in Istanbul, Tel Aviv, London, Seoul, and Beijing.
- More than 5,586 pounds of CO2 per passenger were emitted on this trip.
- Kerry left for Amman, Jordan, on July 15 on a trip that will last through August 1. Already, each passenger on the trip has omitted more than 1,482 pounds of CO2.
Putting it together we have a Secretary of State who is a Global Warming Hoaxer, wasting fossil fuel to bring the Palestinians to DC so they will talk to a country they still want to destroy. Maybe that’s why he always has such a long face.
