In what was probably one of the biggest news stories on Monday, retail giant Walmart announced that it is shutting down and canceling most of its left-wing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies, making it one of the biggest U.S. companies to turn away from all this woke nonsense.
The victory over wokeism was touted by anti-DEI activist Robby Starbuck who took to his X feed to announce that Walmart agreed to put an end to its policies.
Despite Starbuck’s victory lap, Walmart told Fox Business Network that the plans to end DEI have been in the works for a while and the end of its DEI programs did not come as a result of Starbuck’s activism.
Regardless, it does appear that Starbuck’s list of what Walmart is doing seems to be correct as the company did not refute the details Starbuck posted on X.
MASSIVE news: Walmart is ending their woke policies. I can now exclusively tell you what’s changing and how it happened.
Last week I told execs at @Walmart that I was doing a story on wokeness there. Instead we had productive conversations to find solutions.

One think the company did say is that it will continue to support gay organizations and “pride” events.
“We’ve been on a journey and know we aren’t perfect, but every decision comes from a place of wanting to foster a sense of belonging, to open doors to opportunities for all our associates, customers and suppliers and to be a Walmart for everyone,” the company told Fox Business Network.
Several other large corporations have also recently announced the end of their DEI policies. That lsit includes Toyota, Ford, Harley-Davidson, John Deer, Catepillar, Lowe’s, Coors, and others.
