One of my favorite parts of going to the movies is watching the trailers.  Usually I can tell by the two minutes of film whether or not a movie will be worth spending money to watch in the theater or wait until it makes it’s way to cable.  Most of the time I am correct, until today.

A post on the Daily Dot, featured the movie trailer below. If I had seen it in the theaters before the movie came out, I would have waited till the movie made it to cable TV before trying to see this classic film..  This has to be one of the lousiest movie trailers I have ever seen.  If all you saw about this movie was this boring trailer, you too would have waited to see it on cable.  The problem is if you grew up like I did, cable TV wouldn’t be available near your house till five to seven years after this movie came out. We got  our first VCR ten years after the movie came out. Therefor If this trailer was seen before this all-time classic film hit the theaters, perhaps I never would have seen it. Now that would have been tragic because it was is still one of my favorite movies of all time.
