After three years of investigation, the GOP majority of the House Foreign Affairs Committee issued a scathing 340+-page report about Biden’s incompetent cut-and-run from Afghanistan. The report is titled “Willful Blindness: An Assessment of the Biden-Harris Withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Cha]os that Followed.”
The date of August 30 was basically picked out of their asses, I mean, basically picked out of a hat. That date was set in the hardest stone in the history of mankind. The Biden/Harris intransigence about that August date ignored the facts on the ground, no matter what else, endangered the heroic American troops, Afghanistan embassy personnel, the Afghans who helped American troops, promised a move to the United States for their entire families the Afghani Govt and were and the Americans who were left behind. How many American citizens did Biden/Harris leave behind? Your guess is as good as mine. According to the report, “it remains unclear exactly how many Americans were left behind in Afghanistan after the last aircraft departed on August 30,2021.”
As Colonel Seth Krummrich, the chief of staff for Special Operations Command (SOCOM), told the committee, “The president decided We’re gonna leave, and he’s not listening to anybody.
Some may object to labeling every presidential decision as Biden/Harris. That label has nothing to do with the VP’s Democratic nomination for president, was based on information passed along from the high ranking administraion see on the video below.
‘On February 29, 2020, the U.S. and the Taliban signed The Agreement for Bringing Peace to Afghanistan commonly known as the Doha Agreement. It was a conditions-based deal to withdraw U.S. troops in exchange for the Taliban meeting certain obligations, including:
- Cutting ties with al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations;
- Ceasing attacks on U.S. and coalition troops;
- Reducing violence against Afghan forces; and
- Starting negotiations with the Afghan government.
The crucial words above are conditions-based. The Taliban was not meeting their obligations per the agreement, but Biden/Harris refused to delay the withdrawal until the Taliban met their obligations.
The Biden/Harris treatment of the August 30 date as it came down from Mount Sinai on two tablets ignored recommendations from senior members, State Department personnel in Afghanistan, the Afgan Govt., American intelligence, and our NATO allies.
The report also points out that Biden and Harris lied and manipulated the news so Americans wouldn’t realize how disastrous their ordered cut and run was.
Each claim in the report was linked to legitimate sources, such as public committee interviews, hearing testimony, and State Department documents.
The Biden/Harris decision to bug out of Afghanistan was a disaster for the administration’s foreign policy and America’s standing in the world. Allies are now worried under Biden/Harris, the United States cannot be trusted to keep its promises.

When reading the reports on The Lid about the withdrawal disaster, the investigation was not a surprise.
To be fair, I must include the fact that the Democratic Party did have a response to the majority report. To summarize their response: they lied, they cherry-picked, and Orange Man Bad.
