Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton likes to act like “one of the people.” A regular Joan-type. But when she meets with the common folk there are no cameras or cell phones. Even when those common folk are Democratic Party leaders.

On Thursday Hillary took the Scooby Van to the Main Street Cafe in Council Bluffs Iowa, where she met privately with party leaders for about an hour and a half. And the Scooby van was parked in a handicapped zone the entire time.

Pottawattamie County Democratic Chairwoman Linda Nelson said the meeting was so private that everyone invited was asked to hand over their cellphones and cameras before taking part.
