Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I have two problems with that behavior. First of all when these dhummys defend the little tyrant talks, as they did with Am-a-sheethead’s visit to Columbia they incorrectly invoke the first amendment. Folks, the first five words of that amendment is “Congress shall make no law.”
CONGRESS can’t make a law to stop someone from speaking. I can stop someone from speaking, a university can stop someone from speaking, Millie and Sadie playing Mah Jong along side some pool in Boca Raton can stop someone from speaking, but Nancy Pelosi and her obstructionist chain gang can not stop someone from speaking (see how smart the founders of the constitution were). When Columbia lets a mass murderer gives a speech on its campus, Congress cannot stop it. Of course that doesn’t mean that Columbia has to be moronic enough to invite the killer.
My second issue is when someone ties to orate AGAINST tyranny. That’s when the disengenious dhimmis do their best imitation of an ostrich—burying their head deep in the sand. The situation below is a perfect example, the Columbus State Terrorism Awareness Project is not being allowed to promote Islamofascism Awareness Week on their campus. In fact they have been warned not to discuss the issue with outsiders, without prior approval of the school’s administrators. This particular school has a history of banning anti-terror programs on its grounds.
So which one is folks? Why aren’t the ACLU types, getting up from the campfires putting away their guitars and running to speak out against this outrage ? The answer is simple. These hypocrites only fight for free speech that they AGREE with. Its not their fault really, many of these dhimmis have a hyperactive Political Correctness gland preventing them from supporting a patriot’s right of free expression.
