While speaking at a campaign stop in Peterborough, New Hampshire over the weekend, Democrat White House hopeful Joe Biden suggested throwing fossil fuel executives in jail if they don’t accept responsibility for allegedly destroying the environment. A post at Townhall noted:
In order to curb the rate of pollution, Biden explained, we need to hold fossil fuel executives “liable for what they have done, particularly in those cases where there are underserved neighborhoods.”
When they don’t deliver, Biden offered, “put them in jail.”
Some spectators noted his obliviousness. Surely he didn’t forget that his son Hunter was on the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company that was being investigated for corruption? I mean, it has been in the news lately.

Strong words for a guy whose son made millions working for Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. Burisma dealt with fossil fuels and is suspected of doing illegal acts—well was suspected until Joe Biden had the prosecutor fired.
Maybe that’s it. He wants to throw fossil fuel execs in jail because Joe Biden believes there will finally be an investigation of Burisma that he can’t stop. If that happens Hunter will need some prison buddies to hang out with. And who would be better than fossil fuel executives? They can talk about, play cards, talk about getting strippers pregnant, keeping your brother’s widow happy…there is so much they can discuss. Perhaps they can even teach Hunter to speak Ukrainian, or about the energy business two topics, he had no knowledge of when he worked for a Ukranian energy company.
But the low-information stupidity didn’t end there. One attendee began speaking to Biden, saying, “If we don’t stop using fossil fuels.”
Biden interrupted him by saying, “We’re all dead.”

As we all know, fossil fuels are the backbone of the world’s economy. Without fossil fuels, we simply wouldn’t have any of the conveniences we now take for granted. But pandering knuckleheads like Biden are willing to destroy all that just to get elected.

Of course Biden is a giant hypocrite over this as his private plane use certainly qualifies for an environmental crime if he’s ready to prosecute executives at fossil fuel companies. Lock him up, too?
