Donald Trump has riled the left-wing, anti-American Democrats once again, this time by naming Biden critic and immigration expert Thomas D. Homan as his “border czar.”
Homan is an excellent choice for this, certainly. No one knows more about fixing border policy better than Homan who ha spent the last 5 years bedeviling the left with his commentaries and TV and radio appearances on the issue.
“The Former ICE Director, and stalwart on Border Control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration, in charge of our Nation’s Borders (‘The Border Czar’), including, but not limited to, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders. Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin,” continued Trump. “Congratulations to Tom. I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”
Homan was already part of the previous Trump administration having been made ICE director in 2017.
However, the nasty Senate Democrats blocked his promotion and he resigned in 2018.
Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen praised Homan, saying:
Under his exceptional leadership, the men and women of ICE have made significant progress in restoring the rule of law to our immigration system. Consistent with the priorities set out by President Trump, the past year has seen arrests increase by 40 percent, interior removals increase by 30 percent, and the highest number of MS-13 arrests since 2008. But perhaps most important to Tom is that employee morale at ICE is the highest it has been since 2010, which I believe is due in large part to his passionate leadership.
Homan has supported the plan of deporting at least a million illegals a year until the situation is under control.
Naturally, the extremists in the Democrat Party and their corrupt friends in the media are furious that an actual tough on immigration candidate is taking a grip on the reins.
