Donald Trump is moving to direct the U.S. military to begin assisting the federal government with deportation duties. And its about time.

With one of his first orders upon taking office, Trump ordered 1,500 additional troops to the southern border to help shut down the border.

Trump is making other moves, too.

The administration also revealed on Thursday that the Pentagon will provide air support for the Department of Homeland Security to move detainees about the country as their deportations are carried out.

Likely more is to come.
