CNN chief has secret meetings
CNN’s latest doomed president is having secret meetings with Republicans in Washington to try and convince them that he wants to be fair to them after the network has spent decades attacking them.
All I can say is, don’t fall for it, Republicans.
CNN’s new CEO, Chris Licht, is reportedly having secret meetings with Republicans on Capitol Hill, trying to win them over and claiming that he is a new sheriff who wants to return the network to a serious news organization instead of the biased, left-wing attack dog it has become.
Folks, he is a liar.
Per the Washington Free Beacon:
The network boss camped out in mid-July in a room on the first floor of the Senate side of the Capitol, S-120, where he asked GOP lawmakers to come talk with him privately. That arrangement avoided alerting the reporters who stalk the halls of the Capitol, sources said, and accommodated Republican lawmakers who preferred not to be seen hobnobbing with him.
Licht’s message, according to one of the lawmakers who sat down with him as well as to several sources briefed on the exchanges: “We want to win back your trust.”
The CNN chief spent between 45 minutes and an hour cajoling GOP lawmakers who no longer appear on the network to come back on the air — and assuring them he’d praise producers for inviting them and communicate his displeasure if he doesn’t believe they are treate fairly.
He also tried to sell the lawmakers a bridge he had in Brooklyn.
“I think he genuinely wants that to happen,” one Republican lawmaker told the Beacon. “Put aside ideology. I think he thinks CNN sucks.”
Again, Republicans… don’t fall for these lies.
CNN has built its brand and made its bed. It won’t ever change. CNN is a biased stooge for the Democrat Party.
