The Obama administration has found a new way to appease terrorists and put Israel in danger. Last week, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that the Obama administration was playing along with the terrorist ruse in Lebanon when she differentiated between the military branch and a political one in Hezbollah. Clinton’s statement on the Charlie Rose Show came only 24-hours after Prime Minister Saad al-Harriri had created a cabinet of national unity, which includes two members of Hezbollah.
Terrorist organizations create a fake divide between political and military branches to give Western Nations “cover” to appease the terrorist groups, and still seem as if they are fighting terrorism. Its as if we started calling President Obama the “political wing” of the US and the Marines the military wing and told people that the two had nothing to do with each other.
In Aaron Klein’s book, Shmoozing with Terrorists, Abu Ahmed a leader of the al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Fatah’s “military wing” terrorist explained how military and political wings took orders from the same place:
All rockets fired from Gaza have been launched from the northern part of the territory, which falls within Abu Ahmed’s jurisdiction in the Brigades.
Asked why Abbas distances himself from Al Aqsa’s rocket firing, Abu Ahmed told WND, “Listen, we are aware of our president’s (Abbas’) declarations but we are also aware of the international political system that brings the president to adopt this position.”
By naively implying that the political branch of Hezbollah, was fine, the “military wing” that engages in war, is bad the Obama Administration raised the prospect of war in the middle east.
And it is already showing results as the new Lebanese government is about to officially declare itself a terrorist regime by endorsing Hezbollah terrorism against Israel:
The new Lebanese government formed by Prime Minister Saad Hariri will officially endorse the Hizbullah terror militia and grant legitimacy to its attacks on Israel.
Hariri’s national unity cabinet, including two members of Hizbullah, has been attempting to hammer out government guidelines ever since its formation earlier this month. A central sticking point has been Hizbullah’s insistence that its independent arsenal of weapons be officially endorsed by the state. According to the Iranian-backed organization, its arms are non-negotiable. Cabinet members of the Phalangist Party and the Lebanese Forces insist that Hizbullah weapons undermine government authority and are in direct violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions. The two parties initially said they would refuse to sign off on any government guidelines that left Hizbullah free to use its arsenal freely.
After nine attempts, according to Lebanese Information Minister Tarik Mitri, a draft agreement was reached on Wednesday that grants the Hizbullah demand. According to Mitri, the government guidelines will recognize the right “of Lebanon, its government, its people, its army and its resistance” to liberate Lebanese territory. The “resistance”, in this case, refers directly to Hizbullah.
Obama’s kind of change will kill all hope for peace in the middle east.
