Once again Sheikh Raed Salah has spewed lies and other nonsense about Israel’s intention’s with regards to the controversial dig at the Temple mount. Today he said
“The Israeli history is contaminated with blood. They want to build their temple while our blood is on their clothes, on their doors, in their food and drinks. Our blood goes from one terrorist general to another terrorist general,” he said. [sorry sheikh, but If I liked blood I would have been an MD, I prefer Ice-cream]
The more you read his bull crap the more you wonder how a supposedly religious man like this sheikh guy could lie and bear false witness. As a Non-Muslim you have to wonder if Islam has any rules about Loshen Hora (evil speech) the same way Jews do.
Islam strictly prohibits lying:
The Koran also strongly condemns lying and false testimony (2:283; 24:7). And, the Koran commands Muslims to speak the truth even if it is against their own selves or their own family (4:135) (source)
So you would think that the way our friend Salah was was acting he would be up “shiekh’s creek.” Well not quite you see there are exceptions to the prohibition against lyingThis is the doctrine of Taqiyyah, which is described in the Koran (e.g., 3:28). According to this doctrine, Believers in certain circumstances may openly deceive infidels by feigning friendship or goodwill so long as their heart is secure in its faith. In otherwords you can mislead the non-Muslim as you have Allah in your heart. After Salah’s anti-semitic rantings Israel’s Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger urged authorities to prosecute Salah to the full extent of the law.
“His protests are based on lies, illusions, and anti-Semitic preachings,” Metzger said, following Salah’s speech
I hate to disagree with a Rabbi especially such a prestigious one, But Rabbi Metzger you got it all wrong. The point is when Salah is lying about Israel (which only happens on days when the earth spins on its axis). He is not lying—-He is just being a good Muslim. How can you send a guy to jail for being observant in his faith? Muslims are supposed to lie to us infidels.
Chief Rabbi Mertzger says Salah’s speech anti-Semitic Ynet Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement’s northern branch, gave a speech outside Jerusalem’s Old City Friday, in which he spoke against the works at Mugrabi hill. “The Israeli history is contaminated with blood. They want to build their temple while our blood is on their clothes, on their doors, in their food and drinks. Our blood goes from one terrorist general to another terrorist general,” he said. About 6,000 worshippers arrive at Temple Mount for Friday prayers; some 15 muslims arrested. Sheikh Raed Salah stays away from Mount, bus accuses Israeli establishment of committing a crime in al-Aqsa Salah’s speech provoked comments by several political figures, who called for legal action against the Sheikh. “Shiekh Raed Salah is a ticking bomb under the fabric of the relations between Israeli Arabs and the State of Israel ,” said MK Effie Eitam (National Union-National Religious Party). “The State should deal with him as it does with Israel’s dangerous enemies, and cut the dangerous alliance between the Islamic Movement and Israel’s enemies who seek its destruction,” he added. Israel’s Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger urged authorities to prosecute Salah to the full extent of the law. “His protests are based on lies, illusions, and anti-Semitic preachings,” Metzger said, following Salah’s speech. National Religious Party Chairman MK Zevulun Orlev urged Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to revoke Sheikh Raed Salah’s citizenship and to prosecute him. “Salah’s incitement is clear anti-Semitism that proves he is one of Israel’s enemies,” he added. MK David Rotem (Israel Our Home) requested that Mazuz and Police Chief Moshe Karadi arrest Salah immediately. He further stated that Salah is “causing security, political and public damage to the State of Israel.” The movement for the Temple Mount said that Salah’s statements were not surprising considering how Israel has been conducting itself. “A country that invites its enemies to enter and contaminate the holy place should not be surprised by Salah’s slurs, since he feels like master and ruler of the Temple Mount and all of Jerusalem, instead of feeling prison walls,” said the movement’s announcement.
