President Biden made an appearance at the 50th anniversary of Amtrak. Biden, of course, is famous as “Amtrak Joe” for using the rail line to travel from his home in Delaware to get to Washington D.C. over his almost five decades as a useless Democrat politician.
So, it was natural to have him show up to help the wasteful, expensive rail service celebrate 50 years of profligate spending of tax dollars. Amtrak had its best year in 2019 and still lost almost $30 million,
During the event, Biden launched into a rambling, confusing tale about his escapades on Amtrak that turned out to be mostly fantasy.
Now, if Trump had delivered such a mess of a speech filled with lies, it would have been “fact-checked” for weeks and would have led every single newscast for months. But here it is, nearly a week since the speech was delivered, and few news outlets have bothered with it.
In any case, many of the claims that Biden made were simply not true. And these weren’t just muffed facts. They were lies about his personal experiences.

President Joe Biden’s strange anecdote about reaching 1.5 million miles on Amtrak has come under scrutiny after key inconsistencies emerged that make it impossible to have occurred as he told it.
On Friday, delivering a speech in Philadelphia commemorating the 50th anniversary of Amtrak, Biden launched into the tale of a certain conductor congratulating him on reaching the milestone as he traveled to visit his sick mother.
Biden said the incident occurred in his ‘fourth or fifth year as vice president’, or around 2014-2015, at which time the conductor he named had been retired for 20 years and his mother had passed away…
This conductor Biden said was such a great friend, Angelo Negri, retired in 1993, and he died in 2014. Oh, yeah, and Biden didn’t start his second term as VP until 2013. Yeah, conductor Negri was long gone from his job a decade before Biden was in his “fourth or fifth year of his vice presidency,” like he said.
The story is reminiscent of Biden’s claim about negotiating the Paris Climate Accords:
“One of the things I’m proudest of is getting passed, getting moved, getting in control of the Paris Climate Accord, I’m the guy who came back after meeting with Deng Xiaoping and making the case that I believe China will join if we put pressure on them. We got almost 200 nations to join.”
That’s quite the accomplishment, former Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, died 23 years before the agreement was signed. Wow, talking to the dead! That’s an incredible skill. Let’s ask former China Leader Deng Xiapong what he thought.
Hey, if he can negotiate with a dead guy, I can interview the dead guy.
Perhaps Biden has the skill to talk to the dead. That’s why he was able to negotiate with the late Chinese president and was greeted by an Amtrak conductor who had passed on his way to visit his sick mom, who had already died. Either that or neither story is true. However, the media just passes on these incorrect stories.
Why aren’t they asking if it’s an example of Lyin Joe Biden or Dementia Joe? The MSM just accepts everything he says like nothing ever happened and questions absolutely nothing.
