House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was exposed for her sneaky push to include an abortion slush fund in the emergency coronavirus bill.
Several White House sources told The Daily Caller that during negotiations on the provisions in the Coronavirus stimulus bill with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Pelosi lobbied for $1 billion in reimbursement to laboratories which would violate protections for healthcare spending laid out in the Hyde Amendment. The Hyde Amendment blocks federal funds being used to pay for abortions from receiving federal funds.
“A new mandatory funding stream that does not have Hyde protections would be unprecedented,” one White House official explained. “Under the guise of protecting people, Speaker Pelosi is working to make sure taxpayer dollars are spent covering abortion — which is not only backwards, but goes against historical norms.”
A second White House official referred to the provision as a “slush fund” and yet another questioned “what the Hyde Amendment and abortion have to do with protecting Americans from coronavirus?”
Pelosi and Mnuchin were engaged in negotiations Thursday morning to finalize the text of the legislation.
Politico confirmed after this article went to press that the Hyde Amendment provision was eventually removed from the stimulus later on Thursday and will hit the House floor as a separate bill.

What’s the matter, Nancy? Is there some sort of abortion quota stipulation in the deal to keep your speaker job? Why else would taxpayer-funding of abortion clinics be included in a Coronavirus Stimulus Bill?
This is un-freaking-believable. The Democrats are unable to handle bipartisan discussion during a pandemic without slipping in spending that doesn’t belong.
One person on twitter suggested the fastest way to get rid of COVID-19 is to tell Hillary Clinton that it has dirt on her. Sadly that does not work on viruses only people.
