O.K. folks this is one of those real stories that simply catch my crazy eye and I have to share because it may lead to a cool marketing idea.A sex tape of Virgin Islands congressional delegate Democratic Rep. Stacey Plaskett surfaced online according to the NY Daily News. The tape featuring Ms. Plasket and her husband was briefly posted online by hackers before being removed, along with a topless photo of Ms. Plaskett.

Ms. Plaskett is upset and justifiably so:

“Private photographs shared between my husband and me, as well as a private playful video of our family, including one of our children, were illegally obtained and disseminated via the internet,” Plaskett said.

“To say my family and I are greatly upset would be a tremendous understatement. As a mother I am outraged that one of my children was exploited in such a way.”

I agree with Ms Plaskett that the hacking of pictures and posting them online is disgustingly low. And the people who did it should be found and arrested.

Apparently Virgin Island politics is a very dirty game and Ms. Plaskett said the hacking was done by her political enemies.

“This incident shows that there are some people who will go to any length to degrade a woman who refuses to play their games and will try to besmirch my good name by any means necessary,” she said in a statement.

The sex tape was online Wednesday night before being pulled down, according to Politico.

Plaskett’s office said the FBI and Capitol Police were investigating the swiped video and other material.

There is a possible bright side to this incident.  Although it was horrible that the tapes were hacked and released, they might have gone a long way to increase the Virgin Islands travel business. Face it what single man wants to go on vacation to a place called Virgin Islands. Now that Ms. Plaskett has proven there are non virgins on the islands they can change their name to something like, “Not all of Us are Virgin, Islands” or “The Some of Us Do It Islands.” I guarantee it will increase their tourism business.
