After multiple (unsuccessful) attempts by the White House to silence Glenn Beck by leading advertiser boycotts, the President has decided to change tactics by taking his Weiner
dog off the leash so he could go after the Commentators advertisers criminally.

So yesterday, the NY Congressman, who seeks direction from the White House for everything from what to say on the house floor to when he can go to the potty, had a press conference where he went after Beck as well as one of his advertisers.

Weiner, released a report alleging that, Glenn Beck advertiser, Goldline International Inc. “rips off consumers, uses misleading and possibly illegal sales tactics, and deliberately manipulates public fears of an impending government takeover.”  Weiner didn’t hide the fact that he had a political axe to grind.  He accused Goldline of forming “an unholy alliance” with conservative talk show hosts.

Weiner commented, “Goldline rips off consumers, uses misleading and possibly illegal sales tactics, and deliberately manipulates public fears of an impending government takeover – this is a trifecta of terrible business practices. It’s unacceptable that this company is preying on public fears to sell its products.”

Gee if Goldline was so lousy why does it have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau?

Weiner gives a host of complaints in his report, the one he spends the most time on is the fact that Goldline uses conservative shows to advertise their product.  The fact is like any advertiser, Goldline picks the environment they think will be most conducive to their pitch. If  the Congressman has a problem with that he should also be going after the movie companies that advertise in Entertainment Weekly when the magazine is also running a story about the same move, or the detergent that advertises in Good Housekeeping Magazine that “just so happens to brandish” the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on the ad. The Presidential lap dog should also attack those Giant Coca Cola cups on American Idol and come to think of it the Ford ads featuring the Idol singers.

Weinter charged that Goldline sales people represent themselves as financial advisers. He points to one incident in Missouri four years ago, which was fair to bring up, but it was the only one.  Well the only one except for complaints on complaint boards such as “Rip-off Reports.”  If Weiner had kept on reading he would have seen that most of the complaints ended with:

ALL COMPANIES GET COMPLAINTS, BUT HOW THE COMPANY HANDLES THOSE COMPLAINTS, SEPARATES GOOD BUSINESSES  FROM BAD BUSINESSES.

By Ed Magedson – Founder, Rip-off Report

Goldline International approached Rip-Off Report last month with the express purpose of resolving some issues posted on Rip-off Report. Goldline has a sincere commitment to address any and all client concerns and/or misconceptions. Company executives stated to Rip-off Report that Goldline has dedicated a portion of their customer service team to work exclusively on making improvements in the client satisfaction area.

The problem is Weiner’s desperately trying to please his handler in the White House the same way he went from being a big supporter of Israel to being silent as the President threw the Jewish State under the bus.

Now he is grasping at anything to help the president silence anyone who disagrees with the Progressive agenda.

Apparently Weiner has a reason for doing the President’s bidding, he needs Obama’s protection. He has a stalker. According to Jonathan Greenspan of News One in NY, there is a Schmuck with a sign following the guy around.

Being followed by a Schmuck with a sign must be awful for the Congressman. That stalker better be careful, because as we all know, its all fun and games until someone loses a Weiner.
