Barack Obama is feeling the pressure of trying to make up lost ground with less than two weeks to go.  In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine he said that kids see Mitt Romney as a bullshitter. As reported in Politico:

“We arrived at the Oval Office for our 45-minute interview … on
the morning of October 11th. … As we left the Oval
Office, executive editor Eric Bates told Obama that he had asked
his six-year-old if there was anything she wanted him to say to the
president. … [S]he said, ‘Tell him: You can do it.’ Obama grinned.
… ‘You know, kids have good instincts,’ Obama offered. ‘They look
at the other guy and say, “Well, that’s a bullshitter, I can
tell.”’”

It’s interesting that as Obama’s “nice-guy” favoritism numbers are declining, and his weak leadership numbers are rising, he would choose to act un-presidental in a public interview.  It shows the disdain he has for his opponent and for the office he holds.

The verb bullshitter is not such an awful word, heck I use it all the time, but then again, I am not the president (thank God).

This is probably one more indication that Obama believes that he is toast.
